Water use
- We use water-efficient pressure washing equipment to minimise consumption on every job.
- Where possible, we use cold-water techniques that require less energy than hot-water systems.
- We avoid run-off into drains where surface treatments or chemicals are in use.
Chemicals and treatments
- We use biodegradable, environmentally safe cleaning agents wherever possible.
- Biocide treatments are applied in accordance with manufacturer guidelines to minimise environmental impact.
- We do not use products containing harmful phosphates or bleach on surfaces near water features or planted areas.
Waste removal and disposal
- All waste collected is disposed of at licensed waste transfer stations.
- We sort collected waste to maximise recycling and minimise landfill.
- Garden waste is directed to composting facilities where available.
Vehicle and travel
- We plan routes efficiently to reduce unnecessary mileage and fuel consumption.
- We are actively reviewing our vehicle fleet with a view to transitioning to lower-emission alternatives.
